At SoBe, all our beef and chicken across every SoBe location are 100% halal-certified, sourced from trusted suppliers and certified by both the HaPl Halal Professional Institute and Rikdrob S.A.

While all our meat is halal, a few of our restaurants also serve non-halal items such as bacon and alcohol. Because of this, these sites are classed as halal-friendly, not fully halal.

How We Handle Halal Products

We take halal handling seriously. At all fully halal SoBe locations, every halal ingredient is prepared and cooked separately with strict processes in place to avoid cross-contamination:

• Dedicated prep areas, utensils, and equipment for halal meats

• Full grill clean-down and sanitisation before halal service begins

• Team-wide training to ensure our standards are met every time

At our halal-friendly sites (Plymouth, Sheen and Norwich), we still use halal-certified beef and chicken, but due to the presence of non-halal items and alcohol, full segregation of preparation areas may not always be possible. However, we continue to handle all halal products with the utmost care and respect for our guests’ needs.
